Case study

The task

Bring different types of content into one shared space that stays easy to navigate, even on a small screen.

Our work

From user flows in Figma to a React Native and Expo build. We organised profiles, posts, catalogue and chat around one navigation and consistent components.

The result

A shared design and navigation for the mobile product, plus a working build in React Native and Expo. Screens shown use sample data. The platform is still evolving.

Many worlds, one small screen.

KRUG brings beauty professionals together, and that means many kinds of content living side by side: profiles, posts, a catalogue and chat. Each one could easily turn into its own app. The challenge was to keep them in one shared space that still feels simple on a phone.

We started in Figma with user flows, not pretty screens. Where does someone land, what do they want to do next, how do they get back? Once the paths made sense, we designed one navigation and a set of consistent components that every section reuses. Every new screen had to earn its place in that navigation.

Then came the working build in React Native and Expo. The screens you see use sample data, and the platform keeps evolving. That’s the plan: a solid base first, then growth guided by real use.

The team, when every section shared one navigation.

What we’d tell any app founder.

Map before paint

Flows come first. A beautiful screen on the wrong path is still the wrong path.

Reuse beats reinvent

Consistent components make a big app feel small and keep new features quick to add.

Plant a base, then grow

A solid first version, even with sample data, teaches more than a perfect plan.

Same rules everywhere

When every section behaves the same way, people learn the app once and simply use it.

Every extra tab is a question your user has to answer.

Free review, no strings attached.
